CASE HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO BE HEARD ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 8TH AT 1:00 PM
At today’s regularly scheduled Rural Zoning Commission meeting, it was announced that because notices of the meeting had not been sent to residents within 200 feet of the proposed development boundary at least 10 days prior to the meeting date, the case would be continued to a specially scheduled date, which is Thursday, August 8th, at 1:00 PM. Notices will be mailed out as required by state law.
There was no discussion of the case at the meeting other than the continuance and selecting a special meeting date.
Although the Rural Zoning Commission has 30 days after the meeting to make their recommendation to the County Commissioners as to whether or not to approve Woeste Development’s zoning change application, the impression many of us got from today’s meeting is that the Commissioners are planning to make their recommendation as soon as possible after the August 8th meeting so that the County Commissioners can consider this case during their August session.
Details of the special session are in the calendar section of the website.
